What are we trying to do?
Celebrate World Bicycle Day (3 June) by organising a simple, inclusive community cycle rally across cities and towns in India.
Since 3 June falls on a weekday, you may choose to organise the ride on a more convenient weekend—Sunday, 31 May 2026 or Sunday, 7 June 2026.
To build a sense of a shared national movement, all cities will follow a common branding theme, including a standard logo and design elements, while organising rides locally in their own way.
Promote cycling as a practical option for everyday mobility
Encourage safer, healthier, and low-carbon cities
Build and strengthen a local community of cyclists
